EM 300 EPOXY MORTAR

Surface Preparation,

Surface preparation; The application surface should be cleaned and free of foreign substances such as oil, rust and paint. Depending on the concrete surface condition, if necessary, the surface should be roughened and freed from free particles and dust. If the reinforcement in the concrete is rusty, it should be cleaned. The concrete to be applied must be at least 28 days old and the concrete surface must be dry or slightly damp. Steel surfaces must be sprayed with sand or cleaned with a brush until the shiny metal appears.

Mixing the material    

Component B is added into component A and mixed with a low speed mixer for 3-4 minutes. The material should be mixed as much as necessary, taking into account the waiting life. The waiting life of the material decreases at high temperatures.

APPLICATION

EM 300 is applied to the surface with a spatula or trowel immediately after mixing. The application thickness should be between 2-3 mm in each layer. Additional coat applications should be made after the previous layer has hardened. (18-24 hours) for metal surface applications immediately after mixing. If not possible, a primer should be used. In bonding processes, if the product is used between two materials, it should be applied to both surfaces. After the desired thickness is applied, the parts to be bonded will be placed on top of each other until the polymerization is completed. They should not be kept.

 In anchorage application: After the required diameter and holes in the project are opened and cleaned with a brush and compressed air, apply the material with a suitable mortar gun, filling it approximately half way. Then, place the anchor bolt or steel rod by turning it into the hole and press until the material overflows from the hole. If the product is used in epoxy injection application, the cracks are cleaned before the injection and EM 300 is applied to the cracks with a trowel and closed.
