The concrete substrates on which the application will be made must be solid and have sufficient compressive strength (minimum 25 N/mm2), and the tensile strength must be at least 1.5 N/mm2.

Humidity should be maximum %4, ground temperature should be minimum +8°C. Also, care should be taken to ensure that the ground dew point is +3°C above.

The substrate must be clean, dry and free from all dirt, oil, grease, coatings and surface curing materials.

Surface defects, irregularities and corner edges should be corrected with PROTEK R4 class structural repair mortar, creating a chamfer with a radius of at least 4 cm.

Surface cracks should be repaired by filling with PROTEK polyurethane mastic. Finally, it should be primed with suitable PROTEK series primers.
