PROTEK TOP COAT
It is a high-performance, aliphatic polyurethane-based, UV-resistant, water-insulating, two-component special coating.
It is used on concrete roofs, verandas and balconies, light roofs made of metal and fibrous materials, bridge platforms, ceramic tiles, natural stone tiles, etc. It can be applied as a final coating on surfaces, to protect polyurethane foam insulation, and on waterproofing materials used.
The existing surface must be clean, dry, flat and free from dirt, dust, oil, wax, mold and other effects that may worsen the performance of PROTECT-A TOP COAT.
All loose, dusty, cracked, crusted and previously painted surfaces should be cleaned by scraping, sanding and a wire brush.
Consumption:
0.6 Kg/m² single coat (depending on the absorbency of the surface)
Application Tools:
Roller brush
Application tools should be cleaned immediately with water after use.
PACKAGING :
15 KG A COMPONENT
5 KG B COMPONENT
TOTAL: 20 KG Metal Box
Storage and Shelf Life:
It should be stored in its original packaging in a dry environment between +5°C and +45°C.
At least 12 months in its unopened package, in a dry, cool and closed place away from sunlight.
Attention:
During application, protective gloves and glasses should be used.
PROTECT-A TOP COAT can be applied with a brush or roller. PROTECT-A TOP COAT should be mixed.
The opened package should be mixed at low speed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Circularly in downward and upward directions before and during application.
For best results, it should be applied in two coats, leaving 4-6 hours between coats.
Do not apply to wet surfaces. This coating material is suitable for slightly damp surfaces.
It cannot be applied and it is not possible for the material to adhere to the ground on wet surfaces that are saturated with water.
In roller applications, the two coats to be applied should be applied perpendicular to each other. (If the first coat is applied parallel to the length of the application surface, the second coat should be perpendicular to the length of the application surface.)
Apply when the surface and ambient temperature is between 5˚ C – 45˚ C.
In exterior surface applications, the application must be protected against adverse weather conditions.
