PROTEK EPOXY SEALER 2 K
It is an epoxy resin based, two component, solvent based and transparent concrete floor primer.
As a primer before applying epoxy or polyurethane top coats on concrete, cementitious or epoxy mortars, on surfaces exposed to medium and heavy loads,
• By filling the capillary gaps of the concrete surface before epoxy mortar, epoxy self leveling screed, epoxy laminate or epoxy/polyurethane top coat coatings.
As a concrete primer to provide a good adhesion bridge,
• As a resin system in lamination works for ground reinforcement purposes,
• It is used as a polyurea – polyurethane or acrylic based primer in water insulation works to be carried out on concrete or cement screed floors.
Surface Information: The application surface must be solid. The surface must have a compressive strength of at least 25 N/mm² and a pull-off test result of at least 1.5 N/mm².
The new concrete should be at least 3 days old depending on the season, the concrete may be damp but there should be no puddles on the surface.
All loose, loose particles must be free from oil, paint residue and cement laitance.
Large cracks and faults should be repaired in advance. Cement crust and bright screed on the concrete surface should be cleaned with sandblasting, notching machine, diamond drum wiping machine,
The surface should be cleaned with tools such as powered grinding and the surface should be roughened and wiped. The entire surface should be cleaned of dust with an industrial vacuum cleaner.
Concrete surfaces in contact with the soil to be coated must have water and water vapor barrier insulation applied beforehand.
Environmental Conditions:

Material Consumption: It is applied at a consumption of 100-300 gr/m2 depending on the absorbency of concrete or cement-based screeds.
Preparation of the Mixture: It is a two-component product and should be prepared in the specified mixing ratio for the amount to be consumed, taking into account the pot life.
In order to obtain a homogeneous mixture, care should be taken to ensure that the product temperature is not less than 15°C.
Component A should be mixed quickly with a mechanical mixer, and the hardener (component B) should be added, paying attention to the mixing ratio.
Components A and B should be mixed with a mechanical mixer for at least 3 minutes until homogeneous.
Application to the Surface: The mixture, which is made ready for application, is applied with a roller or airless spray in such a way that the surface is saturated and the pores are closed.
The minimum application time for a new coat on top of another coat is 12 hours (20°C) and maximum is 5 days. It is very important that the second coat is applied within the new coat application time specified above.
It reaches full mechanical and chemical resistance in approximately 7 days.
