PROTEK EG/3K
It is a three-component, epoxy resin-based, solvent-free, specially graded, quartz aggregate-containing, specially developed casting mortar.
It is a self-leveling, fluid epoxy mortar that can be applied on concrete, stone, mortar, steel, aluminum, asbestos cement, polyester, wood and epoxy-based materials.
On bridge carrier plates.
• In metal columns.
• On crane rail lines.
• In machine foundations on concrete.
• On connecting bolts.
• Anchoring of prefabricated structures.
• In fixing steel columns and poles,
• In non-flexible joints.
• Bonding materials such as concrete, wood, metal.
The surface to be applied should be cleaned, roughened if necessary, and cleared of foreign materials such as oil, rust, paint, and dust.
The concrete to be applied must be at least 28 days old and the concrete surface must be dry/slightly damp. Steel surfaces must be sandblasted or brushed until bright metal appears.
Rust on the reinforcement should be cleaned, and new reinforcement should be added if necessary. In machine foundations; Before placing the machine, the concrete should be cleaned, the surface where the grout will be placed should be roughened,
bolts and base plate must be clean. Air vent holes must be pre-drilled in the base plate. After the machine is placed and leveled, its position must not be changed,
adjustment wedges should be lightly oiled to prevent the mortar from sticking. Preparing the molds The molds should be solid and have no gaps on the sides where the grout will be poured.
A 5 cm casting gap should be left between the base plate edge and the mold. Polyethylene can be used to prevent the product from sticking to the mold walls.
