It is a single-component, bitumen-enriched, fast-curing pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin-based waterproofing material designed for multi-purpose projects and reinforced with special inorganic additives.

Product features

Features
It cures quickly by reacting to moisture in the ground and air.
It has excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties, high tensile,
Provides tear and abrasion resistance.
It adheres very strongly to different surfaces and forms a very elastic and durable film.
It is effective in water vapor transmission. The film breathes and prevents moisture from accumulating in the lower layer.
It has the feature of bridging shrinkage cracks with its elastic structure.
Since it is liquid, it is easily applied with a roller or insulation pitch brush.
There is no need to use an open flame (torch) during application.
It creates a joint-free, seamless, permanent, moisture and water-proof coating.
It is resistant to aging, water, various salt solutions and weak acids.
Suitable for areas affected by movement and vibration. It is resistant to plant roots.
It adheres perfectly to almost any surface, with or without a primer.
Thermal resistance is high, the product never softens.
It is resistant to cold, the film maintains its elasticity down to -40oC.
It has freeze-thaw resistance.

Usage areas

In foundation-curtain bundling;
In the insulation of concrete surfaces under the ground that are constantly in contact with water;
On roofs, verandas and balconies (provided that they are covered);
On wet surfaces;
Structure where the insulation material must have high crack bridging properties
horizontally and vertically in units;
In cement based substrates;
In very humid indoor areas;
Under tiles in bathrooms;
Asphalt, bitumen felts etc. in waterproofing;
In vertical and horizontal applications in indoor and outdoor areas, in the direction of the water flow;
In basements and underground car parks;

Application Method

Surface Preparation
The existing surface is clean, dry, flat and free of dirt, dust, oil, wax, mold and PROTECT-A PB 018
The surface must be free from effects that will worsen T performance.
All kinds of loose, dusty, cracked, crusted and previously painted surfaces
scraping, sanding, wire brushing and/or machine assistance (pressurized
must be cleaned with water spray or sandblasting).
At least 1500 – for washing existing exterior surfaces with pressurized water.
There should be 2000 psi water pressure.
For metal roof surfaces, loose rust, milling, rust formations adhering to the surface
or white rust on the metal surface using the methods mentioned above.
They should be removed from the surface.
Damaged or decomposed surfaces must be repaired.
Old painted surfaces and irregularities should be sanded.
After the repair, depending on the surface condition, epoxy or polyurethane based coating is applied.
After priming with a suitable primer, liquid membrane application can be started.

APPLICATION:
Before applying PROTECT-A PB 018 T, wash it in a suitable oven at 300 rpm.
It should be mixed with a mixer for 2-3 minutes. The product is applied in 2 coats by spray or brush or roller.
It is applied with a total consumption of 1.5 – 2 kg/m2. More than 24 hours between coats
should not wait. If application with spray is planned, the material must be suitable.
It should be applied after diluting with a thinning agent (xylene).
The equipment used during the application should be placed in a suitable location immediately after the application.
It should be cleaned immediately with solvent.

Shelf Life and Storage Conditions
In its unopened original packaging, in a dry environment at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C.
It can be stored for 12 months. Opened packages should be used immediately.
