Preparation of the Surface
The existing surface is clean, dry, flat and free of dirt, dust, oil, wax, mold and PROTECT-A EA 012 NB 2K.
The surface must be free from effects that will negatively affect its performance.
Scraping all loose, dusty, cracked, crusted and previously painted surfaces,
sanding, brushing with a wire brush and/or with the help of machinery (pressurized water spray or sandblasting).

For metal surfaces, loose rust, milling, rust formations adhering to the surface or metal
White rust on the surface should be removed from the surface using the methods mentioned above. If oxidation (rust) has started on the metal surface again, application should not be made.
Damaged or decomposed surfaces should be repaired with epoxy mortar. Old painted surfaces and
irregularities should be sanded. Shiny surfaces should be sanded until they become matte.
The plaster and concrete surfaces to be applied must have completed their curing (they must be at least 28 days old at 25°C).
Application PRIMER APPLICATION:
Pour component B into component A and mix with a low-speed mixer for at least 3 minutes.
EPOXY MORTAR APPLICATION (for 2mm. thickness):
1 Unit PROTECT-A EA 012 NB 2K
1 Unit (0.100 – 0.300mm) Dry Silica or quartz sand
0.3 Unit (0.020 – 0.200mm) Dry Silica or quartz sand
It is applied to the surface with a brush or roller as a primer material. Use a trowel as epoxy mortar
is applied.
