050 JOINT FILLER

It is a bitumen-rubber based, hot applied elastic joint filler used in horizontal and inclined joints.

• It is used in crack repair, joint filling, covering of cable channels and small floor repairs on all types of asphalt surfaces.

• Due to its high elasticity and ability to prevent fungal mold formation, it can be used in all types of infrastructures that do not come into contact with solvents.

• In concrete-asphalt joints, airport runways,

• Culverts and tunnels,

• Reinforced concrete retaining walls

Application Instruction:

Surfaces must be clean, smooth, solid, and free from loose parts, dust, oil, dirt, rust, mold oil, and similar substances and waste that prevent adhesion.

Do not apply to damp surfaces. The melted material should be poured into the joint or crack while hot (approximately 160-180°C).

In areas exposed to traffic, external surfaces can be sanded. It is ready for use after approximately 1 hour.

If the temperature of 180°C is exceeded or if it is heated and cooled several times, the product loses its qualities and cannot be rehabilitated.

In large-scale applications, it is recommended to use pump systems equipped with heated steel hoses.

To ensure good adhesion, it is recommended to heat the surfaces with a blower heater, especially in cold weather, and apply to hot joints or cracks.
